Save Blue Like Jazz

So, a few years ago I read the book Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller. I liked it so much, that year for Christmas I gave a copy to all my friends. The author, who I follow on Twitter, wrote another book that chronicles his process of making that book into a film. They had a screenplay and a cast all ready to start filming in October.

But there was a problem.

There wasn’t enough funding. They needed the cash to make it happen. And you can help. If you go to kickstarter.com and search for “Save Blue Like Jazz.” Or you can just go to savebluelikejazz.com, whatever works. Kickstarted.com gives people a chance to fund a project with a goal and a due date. If the goal is not met by the due date, no money changes hands. I pledged to give $25 to this project. It’s not much, but if everyone who felt moved by this book helps we can make this dream a reality. If you liked the book, if it touched you, if it helped you to grow in your walk with God, then you can give back. You can do something so that others can experience what you did in a whole new way.
