Carnival

The carnival comes to our town every year on the very first week of summer vacation.  I love it and look forward to it as the time draws near.  It has the same rides for the kids and teens every year, and there’s always awesome carnival food.  We love to go and have a good time.  I especially like the fact that it’s just a few blocks from my house, so at night I can see the lights of the Ferris Wheel from my porch.  It just feels like summer.

There are moments when everything just feels right.  Most often they are simple things.  Times when you can look around you at the people that you love and be thankful for the blessings that God has given to you.  Our lives are made in these moments.  Look for them.  Appreciate them.  Remember God in them.  Because little moments turn into little lifetimes before you know it.
