The rest of our staff
returned late last night from a conference in New York. I wasn’t able to go because the trip was just
too close to our baby’s due date. The
last time I went to a conference this close I ended up taking an emergency
flight home because my wife’s blood pressure put her in the hospital. Of course, nothing like that happened and I
would have been able to go this time around without an incident, but you do
what you have to do.
That being said, it’s
nice to have them back. I love the staff
that I am privileged to work with. They
are amazing servants of the Lord, and we all work well together. It is fun to go to work when the people you
serve alongside of lift you up and encourage you to do your best. It’s great being in a place where people
believe in you and believe that God can do big things through you.
Having been without my
friends this week, I just wanted to use this blog to let them know how much I
love and appreciate them. I’ve missed
the camaraderie and the laughter. I know
you guys had a great time in NYC, but I’m glad you’re back because all of you
are very important to me.
...aaaaand now I have that song stuck in my head.
